Indications:*
Muscle comprises 60% of a horse’s body weight. Muscle or joint problems may occur as a result of an injury, insufficient warm-up or cool-down, or structural/systemic imbalance. When a muscle or muscle group is tight or injured, a horse will compensate by tensing up and using other muscles, creating unhealthy stress on healthy muscles and joints. This often manifests as behavior problems, short and choppy gait, or resistance to normal activity or attention and can result in loss of use of the horse.

- Refusing or resisting leads
Range of Motion equine massage therapy is hands-on muscular massage that promotes balance, enhances muscle tone, and improves circulation, with a primary focus on prevention as well as pain relief. The treatment is a therapeutic and cost-effective complement to traditional therapies and medicines. Sport massage prepares a horse for competition by assisting in protecting and restoring its muscles before and after competitive events or sports activities.
